Privacy policy
Pizza Bagel Music LLC (“we”, doing business as Pizza Bagel Plugins) sells audio software at pizzabagelplugins.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what it takes to sell you a plugin, activate it, and support it.
What we collect
When you create an account or buy something: your name, email address, and a password hash. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor and never touch our servers. When you activate a plugin: a machine identifier so we can tell how many computers a license is on. When you contact us: whatever you send us.
How we use it
To process orders, deliver downloads, activate and manage licenses, answer support requests, and, if you opt in, send an occasional email about new plugins and updates. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cart cookie to remember what’s in your cart. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. No advertising trackers.
Moonbase
Purchases, accounts, licenses and trials are handled by Moonbase (moonbase.sh), which acts as the merchant of record for every sale. When you check out, create an account, or activate a plugin, you are using Moonbase’s service and your data is processed under Moonbase’s privacy policy as well as this one. Moonbase collects your email, name, country (for tax), order history, and a device identifier per activation; it does not share your card details with us.
Third parties
Beyond Moonbase, we use an email provider for newsletters and support, and a hosting provider for this site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own privacy policy.
Data retention
Account and license records are kept in Moonbase for as long as your account exists, because they are your proof of purchase. Support emails are kept for two years. Delete your account and we delete everything except records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@pizzabagelplugins.com. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, and we honor them for everyone.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it here with a new date and, for significant changes, email account holders.
