What formats and systems do you support?
VST3, AU and AAX on macOS 13.3 or later (Apple silicon and Intel, native) and Windows 10 or later, 64-bit only. No VST2.
Can I hear the plugins before I download anything?
Yes. Every plugin page has a working version of the plugin running in your browser. Pick a clip, hit play, turn the knobs and flip between with and without.
How does the free trial work?
Every paid plugin has a 28-day trial with no feature limits and no noise bursts. Download the installer from the Downloads page, pick the plugins and formats you want, then open the plugin in your DAW and click Start Free Trial. That takes you to Moonbase to activate the trial. No card needed.
What is Moonbase?
Moonbase (moonbase.sh) runs our store, checkout, accounts, licenses and trials. When you start a trial, buy a plugin or sign in inside a plugin, you are talking to Moonbase on our behalf.
Do I need an account to start a trial?
Yes, a free one. When you click Start Free Trial, Moonbase asks you to sign in or create an account with your email. The same account holds your trials, purchases and activations.
What happens when the trial ends?
The plugin stops processing until you buy a license. Buy it any time, during the trial or after, and sign in inside the plugin to activate. Your sessions and settings carry over. No need to reinstall.
Schmear is free. Why do I need to check out?
Your license lives on your Moonbase account, and checkout is how it gets there. Add Schmear to your cart and check out for $0. Without that, Schmear won’t activate.
Is there one installer or one per plugin?
One. The Pizza Bagel installer covers every plugin on macOS and Windows. When you run it, tick the plugins you want and the formats your DAW uses: VST3, AU (macOS) or AAX.
How does licensing work?
Your license lives on your Pizza Bagel account, which is run by Moonbase. Sign in inside the plugin to activate. No iLok, no dongle, no serial to paste. One license covers up to three computers you personally use. Deactivate one from your account to move it.
Where do I enter the FIRST1000 code?
At checkout. Add what you want to your cart, click checkout, and Moonbase opens the checkout. Type FIRST1000 in the discount code field and apply it before you pay. It takes 50% off and only works for the first 1000 orders.
Who is charging my card?
Moonbase. They handle checkout, tax and licensing for us, so your receipt and card statement will show Moonbase.
Can I get a refund?
Moonbase is the merchant of record, so refunds follow Moonbase’s standard buyer terms. Every plugin also has a fully functional 28-day trial, so please try before you buy.
Are updates free?
Yes. Every update for a plugin you own is free for as long as that plugin exists. Installers live under Downloads and in your account.
Can I move a license to a new computer?
Yes. Sign out on the old machine (or deactivate it from your account) and sign in on the new one.
I bought a plugin and can’t find it.
Check the email you used at checkout, then open My account from the menu. Your library, downloads and activations are all there, run by Moonbase. Still missing? Contact us with your order number.
Do you offer educational or bundle pricing?
The Everything Bagel bundle has every plugin for $60 during the intro sale ($180 after). For the first 1000 orders, code FIRST1000 takes another 50% off at checkout. No educational pricing yet.
